KidSpace Attendant in Phinney Ridge Neighborhood 

 

Woodland Park Presbyterian Church seeks a KidSpace Attendant to provide a welcoming, safe and nurturing childcare environment on Sunday mornings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the community who is looking for consistent work hours caring for babies and young children.  There may be additional opportunities to work for special events throughout the year. The church is an inclusive and welcoming environment. Applicants of any or no faith background are welcome to apply. 

 

      Responsibilities: 

• Welcome parents warmly and orient them to the KidSpace: check-in, policies & procedures. 

• Care for and play with 1-5 children (usually 2-3 kids between the ages of 2.5 and 7).  

• Be available to assist the Sunday school teacher if there or no younger children or if there is an all ages lesson. 

• Participate in singing, art, games, or free play. 

• Clean room and materials when closing up for the day. 

• Alert KidSpace Lead Caregiver to needed supplies, equipment, or repairs. 

• Report any problems or concerns to KidSpace Lead Caregiver. 

       Requirements:

• Desire to have fun with children of all ages. 

• Dependable with ability to work all Sundays unless planned and approved ahead. 

• Able to work independently.  

• Background check is required.  

• Must be fully vaccinated (and boosted if eligible).

• Current Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification or willing to take. 

 

Hours: Every Sunday, 8:45-1:00 p.m. 

Pay: $18/hour
