"Unfractured" - A film about Climate Activist Sandra Steingraber

Biologist, mother and
cancer survivor, Sandra Steingraber, Ph.D., is an internationally recognized
authority on the environmental links to public health. She is the co-founder of
New Yorkers Against Fracking and Concerned Health Professionals of New York, has
lectured widely in medical schools and college campuses, and testified before
the United Nations, the U.S. Congress, and the European Parliament. Her work
continues the legacy of Rachel Carson, combining scientific expertise, a
reverence for the natural world, beautiful and accessible writing, and the
courage to speak truth to power.
A behind-the-scenes profile of writer/biologist/activist Sandra Steingraber, as she leads two successful David-versus-Goliath battles against the fracking industry. Inspiration for activists and would-be activists everywhere! Includes a short presentation about how fracking affects us here in Washington State.
